Please read these terms carefully before using our platform.

Terms of Use – DeDataHub.io (UK Version)

Effective Date: 6th April 2026

Last Updated: 6th April 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the DeDataHub.io platform. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Please read them carefully.

Welcome to DeDataHub.io, a digital learning platform operated by DeDataHub Limited, a company registered in Scotland (Company No. SC848215), with its principal office at Suite 2/3, 48 West George Street, Glasgow G2 1BP, United Kingdom.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Please note that the legal age of digital consent may be higher in certain jurisdictions (e.g., 18 in Nigeria or 16 in parts of the EU). We strictly adhere to these local thresholds. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

DeDataHub is a responsive learning system built to teach data-focused skills. It delivers instruction in analytics, science, engineering, and machine learning through a platform that adapts to each user's pace and progress.

Its core features, Mentor and Learning Assistant, act as intelligent guides. They observe how users engage, adjust the learning path, and offer timely support. This isn't a static library; it's a system that responds and evolves with the learner.

Access is layered by subscription, from free entry-level access to specialised tracks. Each level opens deeper content and more tailored guidance. The structure is flexible, allowing future expansion without disrupting the experience.

Using DeDataHub means entering a learning exchange, where the system doesn't just deliver lessons but learns how best to teach you.

  • Purpose: We may offer you early access to new features or a "Beta" version of the platform to help us test and improve our services.
  • Nature of Beta: Beta services are provided "as-is" and "as-available" for testing purposes. While we strive for a seamless experience, these features may contain bugs or errors that we are still resolving.
  • Data Processing in Beta: During the Beta phase, we may perform more frequent diagnostic logging to ensure system stability. All such processing remains subject to our Privacy Notice, and you may opt-out of non-essential diagnostic data collection through your Settings.
  • Termination of Beta: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate a Beta feature at any time. Your feedback during this period is voluntary and may be used by DeDataHub to improve the platform without further obligation to you.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use our services for your personal, non-commercial use.

To use certain parts of the platform, you'll need to set up an account. When doing so, you agree to give correct and up-to-date details, keep your login private, and let us know right away if someone else gets into your account without permission. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

  • Plan Selection: We offer various subscription tiers (e.g., Free, Specialist, and Enterprise). Details of features, pricing, and billing cycles for each plan are available on our website. Plan selection is a user-directed choice, and we do not guarantee specific employment or educational outcomes based on your chosen plan.
  • Payment and Performance: Payments are collected in advance via trusted third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). By clicking "Subscribe" and accessing paid features, you agree that the service begins immediately.
  • Waiver of Withdrawal (No Refunds): As our services involve the immediate delivery of digital content and AI-driven insights, you acknowledge and agree that once you access paid features, you lose your statutory 14-day "cooling-off" period or right to a refund. Outside of verified technical errors that prevent learning, we do not offer refunds for subscription periods already started.
  • Pre-Launch "Price Lock": If you enrolled during a promotional or pre-launch period, any "locked" price applies specifically to the product scope and third-party integration costs available at the time of your enrolment.
  • Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to adjust fees to reflect material service expansions or increases in the costs of third-party AI integrations.
    • Material Changes (>10%): We will provide at least 30 days' notice via email.
    • Non-Material Changes (≤10%): We will provide at least 7 days' notice.

If you do not agree to the adjusted price, you must cancel your subscription before the change takes effect to avoid further charges.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your paid plan at any time through your Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access until that period expires, after which your account will revert to the "Free" tier.

Our platform includes tools that provide tailored educational support using advanced algorithms and data-driven models. These features:

  • Offer personalised course recommendations.
  • Provide automated feedback and guidance.
  • Adapt to your learning style and progress.

Please note:

  • These tools are not infallible and may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete suggestions.
  • You should use your own judgment and seek human advice where appropriate.
  • You may request human review of any automated feedback that significantly affects your learning outcomes.

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Notice explains:

  • What data we collect.
  • How we use it.
  • Your rights, including access, correction, deletion, and objection.

We implement appropriate safeguards for educational data and offer granular controls over how your data is used, including for improving our intelligent systems.

  • Our Proprietary Rights: All content, software, algorithms (including the AI Mentor and Learning Assistant architecture), and branding on DeDataHub.io are owned by DeDataHub Limited or its licensors. You are granted a limited right to use these materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You must not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or use our materials for commercial gain.
  • Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of any original content you upload or submit to the platform, such as project work, forum posts, or profile elements ("User Content").
  • Licence to DeDataHub: By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and adapt your content solely to operate and improve our services. This includes incorporating anonymised data into our intelligent systems to enhance the learning experience for all users. We will not sell your content to third parties.
  • Submission Standards: You are responsible for ensuring that you own the rights to anything you upload. You must not submit content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, or violates the intellectual property or privacy rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content that breaches these standards.
  • Withdrawal of Content: You may delete your User Content at any time. However, please note that any data already integrated into our system-level improvements or archived in anonymised form may persist.
  • Fair Use and System Balance: To ensure a smooth experience for all learners, we apply reasonable boundaries to feature usage (e.g., daily limits on AI guidance sessions or file uploads). If your usage consistently exceeds these boundaries, we may discuss upgrade options or, in cases of persistent misuse, temporarily suspend access.
  • User Conduct: You are expected to engage with our community spaces (forums and collaborative areas) with respect and civility. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access to these features if your behavior is disruptive, unlawful, or misaligned with our educational purpose.
  • Technical Access: Access to the Platform is a functional allowance, not an entitlement. You are responsible for ensuring your own devices and internet connections are compatible with our services. We do not provide troubleshooting for third-party hardware or connectivity issues.
  • Maintenance and Modifications: DeDataHub is a "living system." We may perform routine or emergency maintenance that temporarily affects access. We also reserve the right to modify, enhance, or retire features to improve performance or comply with legal requirements. While we aim to provide notice for significant changes, continuity of a specific interface or workflow is not guaranteed.
  • Support Requests: While we make reasonable efforts to respond to technical queries in a timely manner, ongoing technical "servicing" is not a contractual guarantee. Priority support may be extended to specific subscription tiers as a courtesy.

The platform offers a range of learning access options designed to accommodate varying goals, levels of commitment, and areas of interest. Upon registration, users may select a plan that aligns with their intended learning path, whether exploratory, structured, or career-focused.

  • Product Evolution: As a dynamic learning system, DeDataHub continuously evolves. Plans provide a distinct configuration of features, including curated course collections, AI-powered guides (Mentor and Learning Assistant), and progress tracking, which may be updated or restructured to enhance the learning experience. However, if you feel an automated recommendation or assessment has unfairly impacted your learning progress, you have the right to request a human review of the decision by contacting support@dedatahub.io.
  • Performance of Service (Waiver of Withdrawal): By accessing or interacting with paid digital content and AI-advisory features, you acknowledge that the performance of the service begins immediately. Consequently, you agree that any statutory 14-day "cooling-off" or withdrawal period is waived once you have commenced use of the paid features.
  • Informed Decision-Making: Comparative details are available on the platform's website. Plan selection is a user-directed choice, and while our tools are designed to support your development, the platform does not guarantee specific employment or educational outcomes based solely on plan type.

Access to the platform may be brought to an end where continued use compromises the integrity of the service, violates these Terms, or disrupts the experience of other users. Termination is not exercised lightly and reflects a considered response to misuse, breach, or persistent misalignment with platform standards.

Where termination occurs, access to learning materials and platform features ceases immediately. Any licences or permissions granted under these Terms are revoked, and users remain responsible for obligations incurred prior to termination, including outstanding payments.

The platform aims to act with fairness and transparency and will notify users where feasible. If a user believes their account has been closed in error, they may request a review through the designated support channels.

User feedback is welcomed as a voluntary contribution to the platform's ongoing refinement. Whether offered as commentary, suggestion, or observation, such input may inform future iterations, but does not establish obligation, confidentiality, or entitlement.

Feedback submitted through designated channels may be reviewed, repurposed, or incorporated into service updates at the platform's discretion. Users acknowledge that no compensation is provided for suggestions, and that contributions are received in the spirit of collaborative improvement.

Constructive input is encouraged, and users are invited to share their perspectives through account-based tools or direct contact with the support team.

The platform operates as a continuously evolving system, requiring periodic attention to preserve its responsiveness, security, and structural integrity. Maintenance activities, whether routine or reactive, may temporarily affect access, and users are expected to accommodate such interruptions as part of the broader service rhythm.

While efforts are made to schedule updates during periods of lower activity, urgent interventions may occur without prior notice where system stability or data integrity is at risk. The platform does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, but will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned disruptions that may materially affect user experience.

The platform handles personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Collection and use of personal data are guided by necessity, relevance, and lawful purpose, not convenience or assumption.

User data is processed with discretion, and safeguarded through appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, or misuse. Individuals retain rights over their personal information, including access, correction, erasure, and control over its use in personalised services or analytical refinement.

Engagement with the platform implies an understanding that data may be used to support and improve the learning experience, but never beyond the scope of what is lawful, transparent, and proportionate. Full details are available in the platform's Privacy Policy.

Where the platform offers structured or exploratory learning features, user engagement is understood as both input and influence. Interaction with these tools, whether through guided modules, adaptive assessments, or exploratory datasets, contributes to the shaping of the user's own learning trajectory and may inform system-level refinements.

Users are expected to approach these tools with intent and integrity, recognising that outcomes may reflect both system design and user behavior. The platform does not guarantee uniform results and may adjust tool availability or functionality in response to usage patterns, technical constraints, or pedagogical shifts.

Where the platform facilitates access to advisory input, whether through designated mentors, automated guidance systems, or curated pathways, such access is contextual and not guaranteed. Users may be matched with resources or individuals based on relevance, availability, and platform-defined criteria, rather than personal preference or demand.

Engagement with mentorship features implies a willingness to receive input that may challenge assumptions, redirect focus, or introduce unfamiliar frameworks. The platform reserves the right to adjust or suspend access to guidance features in response to misuse, inactivity, or evolving service models.

Recommendations surfaced through the platform, whether algorithmically generated or contextually curated, are offered as directional prompts rather than definitive guidance. Their presence reflects patterns, proximities, and inferred relevance, not endorsement or guarantee.

Users are encouraged to treat such suggestions as provisional, useful for exploration, but not prescriptive. The platform may refine or withdraw recommendation mechanisms without prior notice, particularly where usage trends, system performance, or ethical considerations warrant recalibration.

Where the platform incorporates mechanisms for evaluating user engagement or advancement, such assessments are indicative rather than absolute. Progress may be inferred through interaction patterns, completion markers, or system-generated feedback, none of which constitute certification or formal validation unless explicitly stated.

Users are encouraged to interpret progress indicators as reflective snapshots, useful for orientation, but not definitive measures of capability or mastery. The platform may recalibrate tracking methodologies over time, and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue assessment features without prior notice.

Participation in beta features constitutes engagement with elements of the platform that are provisional, exploratory, and subject to instability. Users opting into such features do so with the understanding that functionality may be incomplete, inconsistent, or withdrawn without notice.

Feedback, usage patterns, and emergent issues within beta environments may inform future iterations, but do not guarantee influence or resolution. The platform may limit access to beta features based on eligibility, relevance, or strategic discretion, and reserves the right to discontinue or reconfigure such offerings at any time.

Where the platform extends early access to emerging tools or functionalities, such access is provisional and may be governed by criteria not disclosed publicly. Users granted such access engage with features that may be incomplete, experimental, or subject to rapid iteration.

Participation does not imply entitlement to continuity, influence over development, or priority in future releases. The platform may revoke or reassign early access without notice, and reserves the right to monitor usage for insights, stability, or alignment with intended use cases.

Users may, where applicable, invoke rights afforded to them under relevant legal, regulatory, or contractual frameworks. Such invocation must follow the platform's designated channels and may require verification, clarification, or procedural alignment before action is taken.

The platform acknowledges the legitimacy of user rights, including access, correction, objection, and erasure, but reserves the right to interpret and respond to such requests in accordance with jurisdictional obligations, operational feasibility, and risk considerations. Invocation of rights does not guarantee immediate resolution, nor does it suspend other terms unless explicitly stated.

Interactions with automated systems on the platform, including but not limited to recommendation engines, conversational agents, and procedural workflows, are mediated by logic that may be adaptive, opaque, or provisional. Users engage with these systems as participants in a designed process, not as interlocutors with agency or intent.

Responses, outputs, or actions generated by automated components should be interpreted as functional approximations, not definitive judgments or guarantees. The platform may monitor, refine, or suspend automated systems without notice, and user reliance on such systems should be tempered by discretion and contextual awareness.

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. However, this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
  • We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes or career results.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Upon termination, access to paid features will cease.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or on our website. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
